What is CommandK
CommandK is a secret security platform designed to give you full control over your secrets. Here are the key capabilities:
- Centralized Management: Manage all your secrets through a single control-plane interface
- Built-in Integrations: Easily integrate and sync secrets with various infrastructure providers.
- Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor the health of your secrets and address violations promptly.
- Secure Storage: Choose between storing secrets in the CommandK Vault or your own private cloud environment.
Getting Started
CommandK is a managed SaaS product. You can get started by:
- Signing up on our website
- After registration, team members sharing your email domain can easily join the same CommandK account.
CommandK Architecture
There are three key components in the CommandK architecture:
| Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Control Plane | A web-based dashboard to centrally manage your secrets across apps, environments, and various cloud accounts. |
| Data Plane (CommandK Vault) | KMS-backed storage layer to securely store your secrets. Each application & environment are encrypted using different keys for improved protection. |
| Integrations | Facilitates secret syncing with infrastructure providers (e.g., Kubernetes, Lambda, Supabase). This is achieved through in-built, secure integrations between CommandK and the respective providers. |
